Our service uses artificial intelligence to analyse contract text and provide educational observations, potential areas of concern, and general informational commentary. BeforeYouSign is not a law firm, solicitors' practice, or legal service provider.

2. Not Legal Advice

Nothing provided by BeforeYouSign constitutes legal advice. Use of this service does not create a solicitor-client, attorney-client, or any other professional-client relationship between you and BeforeYouSign or its operators.

Our analyses are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The AI may fail to identify important risks, misinterpret clauses, or provide observations that are incomplete or inapplicable to your specific circumstances, jurisdiction, or situation.

You should always consult a qualified solicitor, attorney, or other licensed legal professional before making any decisions or taking any action based on information provided by this service.

3. No Data Storage

BeforeYouSign does not store, log, retain, or have any ongoing access to your contract text, uploaded documents, or analysis results. All processing occurs in real-time and is not saved to any database or file system. Once you close your browser or navigate away from your results, your analysis is permanently lost and cannot be recovered. You are solely responsible for downloading or copying your results before leaving the page.

4. Pricing & Payments

• Quick Scan: $9.99 — one-time payment for a single summary-level contract analysis
• Full Analysis: $17.99 — one-time payment for a single comprehensive contract analysis
• All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Prices are in USD and are subject to change.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Due to the nature of AI-generated digital content, which is delivered immediately upon purchase, no refunds are issued under any circumstances. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree that you are purchasing access to an AI-generated analysis that is delivered instantly, and you waive any right to a refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

BeforeYouSign provides AI-generated educational content on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability, or timeliness of any analysis or content provided.
• We disclaim all implied warranties including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any and all claims arising from or related to your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific analysis giving rise to the claim.
• In no event shall BeforeYouSign, its operators, directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of opportunity, legal costs, or damages arising from reliance on any analysis provided.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BeforeYouSign, its operators, directors, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the service; (b) any reliance you place on any analysis provided; (c) your breach of these Terms; or (d) any dispute or claim arising between you and any third party related to a contract you analysed using this service.

8. Intellectual Property

The BeforeYouSign name, branding, website design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of BeforeYouSign and its operators. You retain all rights to your uploaded contract content. We claim no ownership over any documents you submit or analyses generated from your documents.

9. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this service. By using BeforeYouSign, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BeforeYouSign to: upload content that you do not have the legal right to share; attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the service; use the service for any unlawful purpose; or submit contracts containing content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
